The Blue Point Residences designer on Phuket Island, Paul Raff said that frame the experience of the natural landscape for the client. It’s from this starting point that Raff and his studio designed the luxury residences overlooking Pattong Bay and the Andaman Sea. The residences are covered in modular and recycled material louvered screens in order to reduce heat gain without sacrificing the beautiful views of the bay and beach below.

The 21 unit luxury Bluepoint Residences were designed to take in breathtaking panoramic views while maximizing solar shading and privacy. Modular louvered screens, made from a light weight wood plastic composite, primarily waste sawdust, will form a dynamic skin around the residences. Each louver is specifically designed for its location on the facade for a combination of solar access as well as view formation.

Paul Raff Studio uses modern techniques and technologies and combines them with a local aesthetic appropriate for the location. So, the residences also include lattice canopies and Thai styled timber salas, or outdoor living areas, which are an important part of Thai living. The residences will also feature a series of cascading pools and gardens that interconnect the buildings and frame landscape views.
