Ripley’s Believe It or Not estimates that over 50,000 cans are included in this Beer Can House. They’re in the walls, swaying from the front porch, and pretty much everywhere else.

After the whole front and back yards were completely covered, he decided to add aluminum siding made of aluminum beer cans to the walls.
He even crafted decorative garlands out of beer can tops to hang from the front of the house. The addition acts as a windchime and works to lower the family’s energy bills.
John says many varied types of beer that John, his neighbors and his wife, Mary, drank were used, and that his favorite beer is always “whatever’s on special”.
