A strong focus was placed on the insulation to make homes more efficient, and intelligent design allowed builders to conserve resources by using less wood. A system of geothermal heat pump works to provide heating and cooling efficiency and the whole house is electric, which is supported by a pv system, so there is no natural gas is used at all.
Located on Broadway and the Northern Poplar Ave Boulder, approximately 1.5 acres located across from the market, shops and restaurants and with easy access via bus to the city. Six Broadway Townhomes border, while the six single-family homes in the back sitting around the communal garden. All houses will be oriented to the south and photovoltaic systems can be installed on the roof, which will actually provide the house with all the energy they need.
